Reply to a gentleman of Bordeaux.

A gentleman of Bordeaux wrote us a letter, very polite by the way, containing a criticism from the religious point of view of the article published in the November issue on the Origin of Language, which, be it said in passing, found numerous admirers. As the letter bears neither signature nor address, we did with it what should be done with every anonymous letter: we cast it into the fire.
