Chapter 68 of 97

International League of Peace.

We are asked to bring to the knowledge of the readers of the Spiritist Review that adhesions and subscriptions to the International League of Peace are received by Messrs. Dolfus, Mieg & Co., treasurers of the League, at rue Saint-Fiacre, no. 9, and at the secretariat, rue Roquépine, no. 18, where all information may be obtained and all communications may be addressed. At the same time we have received a brochure, containing the report of the first general assembly, the discourses of the speakers, and various documents useful for making known the object of this association. It is found at the Guillaumin bookshop, at rue Richelieu, 14, at the price of 1 fr. We accept all the more willingly the invitation made to us, inasmuch as all Spiritists are, on principle, friends of peace, and because they sympathize with all institutions or projects which have as their object the making to disappear of the scourge of war. Their doctrine, which leads to universal fraternity, making to disappear the antagonisms of races, of peoples, and of cults, is in itself a powerful element for general peace.
