Spiritist Review — 1865 · Allan Kardec

Chapter 81 of 102

Familiar Conversations on Spiritism.

We have the satisfaction and the duty of calling our readers' attention to this booklet, which we merely announced in the last issue, and which we inscribe with pleasure among the recommended books. It is a complete, though summary, exposition of the true principles of the doctrine, in familiar language, within the reach of all, and in an attractive form. To make the analysis of this production would be to make that of The Spirits' Book and of The Mediums' Book. Thus, it is not because it contains new ideas that we recommend this little work, but as a means of propagating the doctrine. Allan Kardec.
