Spiritist Review — 1862 · Allan Kardec

Chapter 64 of 125

Notice

There was sent to us a rather voluminous manuscript, entitled: Love, revelations of the Spirit of the 3rd order of the angelic series to brother P. Montani. As the dispatch was not accompanied by a letter, we are ignorant of the name of the person who sent it. Should this issue fall into his hands, we ask that he make himself known, so that we may be able to thank him. For now we will say that the work contains excellent things and is based on the soundest morality and on the fundamental principles of Spiritism. But, alongside this, there are dangerous theories on several points and that may give rise to serious criticism. For our part we could not accept everything it contains and we find it improper to publish it without modifications. Allan Kardec.
