Revelations from beyond the grave
By Mrs. H. Dozon, medium. Evoker, Mr. H. Dozon, former lieutenant of the lancers of the guard, knight of the Legion of Honor. — One large in-18 volume; price: 2 fr. 25 c. Ledoyen Bookshop, 31, galerie d'Orléans, Palais-Royal.
It is a collection of communications obtained by Mrs. Dozon, medium, member of the Spiritist Society of Paris, during and after a grave and painful illness which, as she herself says, would have struck down her courage, had it not been for her faith in Spiritism and the evident assistance of her spiritual friends and guides, who sustained her in the most difficult moments. For this reason, the majority of the communications bear the mark of the circumstances in which they were given. Their evident objective was to raise the dejected morale, a goal completely attained. Their character is essentially religious, breathing only the purest, the sweetest, and the most consoling morality. Some are of remarkable elevation of thought. We regret only that the rapidity with which the volume was printed did not allow all the material correction that was desirable. If the Library of the Invisible World, which we have announced, were in the course of publication, in it this work might find an honorable position.
