Chapter 88 of 131
Concord
Be united, my friends: union makes strength; proscribe from your gatherings every spirit of discord, every spirit of envy. Do not envy the communications that such or such a medium receives; each one receives them according to the disposition of his Spirit and the perfection of his organs. Never forget that you are brothers, and this fraternity is not illusory: it is a real fraternity, because he who was your brother in another existence may find himself among you, forming part of another family. Thus, be united in spirit and in heart; seek the same communion of thought. Be worthy of yourselves, of the doctrine that you profess and of the teachings that you have been called to spread.
Be conciliatory in your opinions; let them not be absolute; seek to enlighten one another. Place yourselves at the height of your apostolate and give to the world the example of good harmony.
Be the living example of human fraternity and show to what point men sincerely devoted to the propagation of morality can come.
Having but one objective, you must have one and the same thought: that of putting into practice what you teach. Let, then, your motto be: Peace and fraternity!
Mardochee.
